Modular and prefabricated home construction is rapidly growing across Australia, driven by government programs for social housing, the private sector’s demand for faster project delivery, and stronger support from lenders.

At Niksen Time, we joined this movement with our first modular home, which began construction in August this year and is expected to be completed by mid to late November. This project is designed as a granny flat featuring a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom configuration, along with a kitchen, laundry, and living area.

As our first modular project, it provides us with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in this type of construction while collaborating closely with our partners to deliver more projects in the near future.

At Niksen Time, we also have team members based at the modular homes factory, working alongside our partners to be involved in every stage of the build. We firmly believe this represents a great opportunity for our company to deliver innovative housing solutions that are faster to build, more affordable, and equal in quality to traditional construction.
